We breed for black, yellow, (including red) and chocolate labradors. We do not breed for silver. Our kennel is registered with the CKC, and all of our pups come with their CKC Registration and a 4-Generation Pedigree. All of our breeding stock have cleared OFA’s hips and elbows, CERF tested, DNA tested for exercise induced collapse, narcolepsy, progressive retinal atrophy, and ocoloskeletal dysplasia.
Before an Archway pup is born, it’s parents are health and temperament tested, and we study their pedigrees. The parents are fed a healthy diet, and someone had the pup in their thoughts, eagerly awaiting their arrival. Our pups are born due to much planning and care. We believe in a responsible breeder for responsible dog ownership.
Once they arrive, the puppies are played with and handled every day. We begin by rubbing their paws and giving them the affection they need to help them respond well to human touch. The puppy pens are kept clean and warm, and the pups are fed the best of ration (TLC). Buyers are encouraged to continue feeding TLC PUPPY food for the first 2 years, then a WHOLE life stage ration also made by TLC. APTITUDE TESTING
To ensure the right puppy goes to the right home, each Archway puppy is Aptitude Tested. Knowing your puppy better will help you understand him, and help you to pick the puppy from the litter that will best suit your needs and lifestyle.
When you come to take your pup home, you are welcome to bring a blanket so we can rub the mother’s scent on it. You will be bringing home a puppy that was born with care, attention, and given socialization. It is our desire to set you and your puppy on the path to success in your life together.
